Weekend at the Asylum is now entering its fourth year. One of the biggest steampunk events in the World it benefits from the backdrop of the beautiful and historic City of Lincoln which has welcomed us since 2009. The event attracts visitors from all over the World to enjoy a full convention style day programme and steampunk market with a fringe style evening programme of live theatre, music and comedy.
During the day the Castle and County Assembly Rooms host our day programme. The festival runs along the lines of a convention or expo. Your wristbands allows you to attend events, enter competitions check out exhibitions, meet authors, watch displays, attend talks, panels, dance classes and workshops and of course shop. The Bazaar Eclectica is the largest purely steampunk market in the World.
