Genevieve Yang of Psyche Corps Grants an Interview

Here at The Art of Steampunk (aka S.S. Kali’s Hourglass), we try hard to ally with others that want to share good fun and creative art in all its forms.  We also tend to really like art that leans toward Sci-Fi or what the Lotus Comic staff define as “Nerdy” vs “Geeky.”   Along that line, I would like to bring your attention to a singer, storyteller, comedian, and drop dead gorgeous performer that does Cyberpunk/Darkwave type performances with one of the finest voices in the industry, yet using such bizarre items as a percussion track based on the DNA...

BB Blackdog on Tour in Steampunk Land

On their first visit to Fresno, the Los Angeles-based group is in the midst of their By Any Means Necessary tour, and they plan to spend the next several months touring the West...

Crossing the Aether on an Extraordinary Voyage: An Interview with Vernian Process

(Photo Courtesy VernianProcess.com) Roughly two weeks after the launch of the Doctor Fantastique’s website, I received a response via the Aether Mail link from with the following message: “Hey I saw you twittered something about liking to get in contact with us? Well, I’m all ears. What would you like to ask us? Cheers, Josh Founder of Vernian Process” I’m sure you can imagine my surprise when I got that email. Or perhaps you can’t. In which case, you haven’t been listening to Steampunk music very much at all. Vernian Process is one of the oldest Steampunk bands, and in fact a...
